Welcome to Old Silo Golf Club, Kentucky’s Number One-Rated Public Golf Course. Designed by Champions Tour Player Graham Marsh in 2000, this 18-hole championship design is situated on 209 acres of rolling bluegrass countryside, and is located just 30 minutes east of Lexington off I-64.

In addition to Golf Digest awarding the facility as the “Number 1 Public Course in Kentucky” in 2003, Golf Digest also featured Old Silo as the “6th Best New Affordable Public Golf Course in America” in 2002. With its numerous awards and features in Golf Magazine and USA Today, Old Silo offers guests a golf experience that combines award-winning design with world-class service.

Somerset Creek meanders through the property and dramatic views add to the aesthetic beauty of the golf course. The golf course features lush bent grass tees, fairways, greens and 98 white sand bunkers. The course offers four sets of tees, ranging from 5,509 yards to 6,977 yards, and is designed to accommodate players of all skill levels.

The 6,000 square foot clubhouse offers panoramic golf course views from its balcony. The interior provides the perfect atmosphere to relax in front of the fireplace while enjoying your favorite drink from the bar.

Group Events

Old Silo has quickly built a reputation of hosting quality golf events. Our Professional Golf Staff takes pride in working with corporations, charitable organizations, and golf associations to create customized event packages to fit their needs. Our banquet facilities and private meeting room allows us to service groups from 12 to 150.

The Professional Staff at Old Silo will help you coordinate and build your own custom golf outing. If your event is for fund raising, we can help you plan and construct a profitable event that your organization can rely on for years to come. We take pride in doing the work for our customers, allowing them to socialize and entertain their guests and customers.

We provide an array of professional services such as cart signs, contest signs, scorecard and scoreboard preparation. Please use our checklist of services to help you plan and organize your event.

Events may be booked up to a year in advance based on the size of the group. To secure your date and time contact the golf shop and let the Professional Staff aid in building your event. Once your golf date is secured we can help you plan the other aspects of your outing.

Pro Shop

The Old Silo golf shop offers the latest in fashions, club technology, bags and accessory items. Featured vendors include Adidas, Ashworth, Monterey Club, and Callaway Sport. Golf equipment can be found from Titleist, Callaway, and Ping to name a few.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can special order almost any need you may have. If you are looking for that special gift or company logo item, we have a wide variety of items that can be logoed specifically for you.

Our staff of PGA Professionals can custom fit your next set of clubs with our Mizuno Fitting System. Receive a free golf lesson with each set of irons purchased at Old Silo.

Lessons

Old Silo is pleased to offer both individual and group lessons. Our teaching staff includes PGA Director of Golf Scott Fraser and Head Golf Professional Steven Burke.

Private Lessons

Each lesson is 45 minutes long and includes the cost of range balls.

Series of 3 Lessons - $105.00
Series of 6 Lessons - $200.00

Group Lessons
2 People - $30 each
3-4 People - $25 each
