Olde Oaks Golf Club

Gracing 340 acres of pristine rolling hills near Shreveport is Olde Oaks Golf Club, designed in close collaboration with PGA Ryder Cup Captain Hal Sutton. A native of the area, Sutton calls his first signature course one of the finest in the region. For the naturalist, Sutton’s dream club features 27 challenging holes offering tremendous variety. Five sets of tees and generous fairways allow any level of golfer to truly enjoy their round. Almost every species of wildlife that is native to this area can be found at Olde Oaks and many of them can be spotted during a round of golf. The grill at the Clubhouse is a great place to refuel before heading out to the casinos.

The Golf Course

Our three nines offer three distinct sets of challenges and shot values that are sure to test your game. The Oak Nine is a parkland-type course with lots of trees and water in play on 4 of the holes. The holes on the Oak Course feature a lot of variety including two memorable par-5's that require the player to think about each shot. The Cypress Nine winds is a bit more open and is routed among the beautiful homes of the Olde Oaks community. This is not your typical "development" course, however because the lot setbacks are so large and the routing is so open. The Cypress Nine features a great set of par 4's. The Meadow Nine is an open "links" style course with a twist. There are trees in play on 1 & 2 and 8 & 9, and some water to deal with as well. The Meadow course is the strongest 9, strategically, and is a favorite among golfers who prefer a course where the required shot values are "right out in front of them." With 4 sets of tees, Olde Oaks is designed to present a challenge to golfers of every skill level. It is also "user-friendly." Some holes will give you all you want, but you'll have your opportunity to make some birdies and pars as well.
