Black Bear offers the perfect place for your Louisiana getaway. Located just six miles off Interstate 20, you’ll find Poverty Point State Park overlooking the 3,000 acre man-made lake that is the centerpiece for a variety of recreational activities.

The 6,000 sq ft. Clubhouse at Black Bear is now complete, with our new Pro Shop and Waterfront Grill, both NOW OPEN. Our restaurant offers wonderful food and beverage selections for the entire area. The building provides spectacular views, a full service Pro Shop, dining and an open air pavilion.
