Overview
The Moonah Links Golf Academy is the premier golf training facility in Australia and is based at Moonah Links, on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
Moonah Links remains integral to the success of the current AIS Golf Program as it will be the base for the majority of camps that take place throughout the year. The Moonah Links facility was purpose built to develop Australia's most talented players with an eye to producing world class golfers. The facility at Moonah Links comprises offices, gymnasium, lecture rooms, physio room as well as purpose built indoor and outdoor hitting areas, short game bunkers and chipping area with many different lies and grasses to prepare the AIS players for many and varied conditions.
The facility contains:
* A fully equipped gymnasium tailored to provide golf specific programs
* A lecture theatre

* An indoor hitting bay and video coaching room featuring biofeedback equipment
* Full driving range with 3 separate tee areas
* workshop for club fitting needs
* showers and changing rooms
* storage rooms
* Short game area complete with 3 bunkers
* Large undulating putting green
* A pitching tee of up to 80 meters
* Fairway bunker and driving tee
Moonah Links Golf Academy was formailly the National Elite Training Centre and AIS Golf home and was officially launched in December 2003 by the then Federal Minister for Sport, Rod Kemp. Since then it has generally been agreed that the facilities are amongst the world's best for elite golf training, with the venue becoming the envy of many National golfing organisations.
Pebbles Restaurant & Spike Bar
Overlooking the wide fairways of the Open Course, Pebbles Restaurant featured in the Golf Pavilion, offers a relaxed modern Australian menu with a focus on the freshest Mornington Peninsula produce. Accommodating up to 110 guests, Pebbles Restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Adjacent to the restaurant is the Spike Bar and Terrace – the perfect spot to relax after a game, and enjoy a pre-dinner drink or nightcap. Spike Bar is open from 7.00am daily.
